So, I'm sitting downstairs in my comfy overstuffed brown chair listening to the thunder and rain rumble through.............

And as I was sitting here...I was just reflecting about a few things. Do you ever do that? Just sit and think about things you can no longer change, take back, or redo. Those things that once its done...its done. No refunds, no do overs, no indian giving......

What do we do with these things that can haunt us late into the night? These nagging feelings of regret, frustration, and sometimes utter defeat.

Are we forever doomed to this cage, this prison we find our minds trapped in?

No.

We are not.

"Solution?", you ask? Well, of coarse. What kind of person would leave a friend hanging? Not this one.

You have got to talk to someone who can help you. You've tried that you say? Well, maybe you asked the wrong person. There is one. Only one actually, who CAN help.

You may have guessed it, you may have not...and if you are truly needing an answer, resolutions. solution...you will read on. Otherwise...come back when you are ready.

Psalm 37:5
Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this:
Psalm 40:17
But as for me, I am poor and needy; may the Lord think of me. You are my help and my deliverer; you are my God, do not delay.
Psalm 55:22
Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.
Proverbs 16:3
Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.
Matthew 6:25
"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?
Matthew 6:27
Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
Matthew 6:28
"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.
Matthew 6:31
So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
Matthew 6:34
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

And lastly...

1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

Take a moment. Say this prayer.

God, I give my life to you. I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and I ask you to deliver me from this trouble. I ask for you to comfort, heal, and bring me out of this seemingly bottomless pit I find myself in today. In You, there is hope. You provide a way of escape for me. You are my deliverer, my Rock, my Salvation. I am calling on you, and I know you hear me right now and that you will bring me out of this situation stronger than I was before. I give you my heart. I trust you. Amen.
