He didnt say that we "might have"......he said that in fact, we WOULD have. And He didnt say that it would be just one time either, He said "Many".
Dont frown. That is NOT all that life is about. Life holds a lot of beauty, joy, and adventure as well. There is a LOT of good. There are just going to be some days when you have to choose to "look for it".
My mom used to tell me this..."If you look for the bad in someone, you will find it. If you look for the good in them, you will find that too. Decide what you want to look for."
That is so true. That is also applicable for life.

Romans 8:37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
MORE than conquerors....I like that. What is a conqueror...?To gain or secure control of , as if by force of arms. To overcome by physical, mental, or moral force.
You are MORE than that. Why? because you are MORE than a conqueror.
So the good life? It is having Jesus as your Lord, God as your defender, and HAVING that help, that peace, and that wisdom to get through this life. On top of that, a promise to be with them in Heaven for eternity after this short life is over. That my friends, is the good life.
